Data Relationships

This is a good time to explain the data relationships that make up a freight bill in Remote Reporter.

Each freight bill must adhere to the following rules:

1. Each freight bill has one and only one Master Pro record.
2. The Master Pro# must be unique within the same customer.
3. Each freight bill must have one Movement record.
4. Each freight bill may have multiple Movement records.
5. Each freight bill Movement must have one Distribution record.
6. Each freight bill Movement may have multiple Distribution records.
7. Each freight bill Movement may have one or more Accessorial records.
8. No freight bill is required to have Accessorial records.

We have looked a freight bill that had multiple Accessorial records. Now lets look at one that has multiple Movement records - a much more common occurrence.

In our example, we have looked up Master Pro# 657030508. Here is the Movement page for this bill:

Note the toolbar is active again, clicking the List tool shows all the associated Movement records:

Remember - each one of these Movement records has at least one Distribution record, and may or may not have Accessorial charge records also.
