Preferred Carrier Program

F.A.C.T.S. Preferred Carrier Program For a small monthly fee F.A.C.T.S. will monitor your shipping department and vendor usage of carriers. Simply provide us with a Routing Guide (see Routing & Cost Control for more information on Routing Guides) or Routing Instructions with the “Preferred Carriers” for each traffic lane.When a carrier is utilized that is not on your approved list, F.A.C.T.S. will re-rate the shipment using the pricing of the “Preferred Carrier”.In the F.A.C.T.S. Remote Reporter software you will find a report titled Preferred Carrier Cost. This report shows each out-of-route shipment detailing the following:

	Shipper
	Consignee
	Date Shipped
	Actual Carrier Used
	Actual Carrier Cost
	Preferred Carrier
	Preferred Carrier
	Savings or Loss from Each Shipment.

This is a powerful tool that quickly shows the amount of money lost by not utilizing the proper carriers. The Preferred Carrier Program runs on a month to month basis and can be started or stopped at any time.
