Removing Older Versions of Remote Reporter
Checking your Remote Reporter Version
Follow this simple procedure to check what version of Remote Reporter you currently have installed:- Start Remote Reporter.
- Choose "About" from the Help Menu.
- On the About dialog, if the version number is less than 2.0, you must remove F.A.C.T.S. Remote Reporter from your system in order to install 2.0 successfully.
- Exit Remote Reporter.
How to Remove F.A.C.T.S. Remote Reporter
- Make sure you are not currently running Remote Reporter.
- Choose Start - Settings - Control Panel from your Windows Task Bar.
- From Control Panel, choose Add/Remove Programs.
- From the list of programs presented by Add/Remove Programs, choose F.A.C.T.S. Remote Reporter, or Remote Reporter.
- Click the Add/Remove button.
- Follow the prompts on the screen to remove the application.
- Reboot your computer.
- Using either Windows Explorer or My Computer, locate the FBAR folder on your hard drive. By default, this folder is located at C:\FACTS.
- Once you have located this folder, delete it from your system.
- Empty the Recycle Bin.
